These are a few images I captured while “trapped” in my house last week due to icy rain and snow.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good snow day and LOVE when the kids are home from school but ice scares me….the trees are too close to my house to feel safe in an ice storm AND I couldn’t go out to stop the squirrel from eating all the bird food.  My daughter reminded me, “mom the squirrels are hungry too”, she’s right but this one, he’s a hog!  Luckily the ice has melted…..today is all bright and sunny!  Here’s hoping the next storm doesn’t bring anymore ice!
